I think it reminds me more of Alfred Stieglitz then Ansel Adams (although it can be said I know little about Adams despite my admiration for the work.) That being said, it's the right mixture of tonality and artistic flair. Actually I think of one of his more famous works looking at this and other photographs you've taken. here's an example: [link]
